Ye Shen joined the Huber's family in 2015, in the wholesale department doing ham slicing and getting goods ready for delivery. He left school several years ago and worked a couple of years as a cashier in a pub in Malacca. But the working hours are unsociable and long. The day came when Ye Shen decided he wants to be awake during the day and asleep at night. He then set foot in Singapore with a relative to see what opportunities await him here.
Living in Johor Bahru now with a few colleagues, Ye Shen wakes up at 3 in the morning every day so as to beat the crowd at the immigration and to be on time for work. It might seem like there is no improvement to his waking hours compared to his previous job. But Ye Shen enjoys working at Huber's and therefore is fine waking at 3am every working day. He also visits his family in Malacca at least twice a month.

Ye Shen is an avid mobile gamer - he plays MOBA game like 'King of Glory' which is very similar to the popular game 'DOTA 2'.
