by a small dedicated team of passionate foodies, the Australian-made Valley Produce
Company brand started as a small cottage business selling its crackers and
fruit pastes at the local farmers markets in the Yarra Valley, in the heart of
Victoria's premier wine growing country.
Over the past
10 years, Valley Produce has grown to become one of the world's true specialty
food brands and is now sold in the best Gourmet Food Stores, Delicatessens and
Cheese shops not only Australia-wide but also around the world, including the
USA, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, and now Singapore!
Valley
Produce’s Fruit Paste Pyramid products are now available at Huber’s in 3
uniquely exciting flavours – Fig & Almond, Apricot & Pistachio, and
Pear & Hazelnut.
Fig & Almond Fruit Paste
Made
of caramelised black mission figs, which are then cooked slowly to develop a
rich, sweet flavour. Freshly roasted, crushed almonds are then added to create
a wonderful texture.
Great
when paired with soft, creamy brie, Stilton cheese, Gorgonzola cheese, or
Meredith goat cheese.
Apricot & Pistachio Fruit Paste
Made
with three ripened apricots. They are first pureed and then cooked down in
small batches. Freshly roasted, crushed pistachio kernels are further added to
give texture & colour.
Best
served with soft, creamy brie, Stilton cheese, creamy blue cheese, or aged
cheddars.
Pear & Hazelnut Fruit Paste
This
fruit paste uses fresh William pears obtained from local farmers. The pears are
peeled, cored and pureed, before then cooked down in small batches. Freshly
roasted and chopped hazelnuts are added to give body and flavour.
Try it out with aged cheddars, soft
creamy blue cheese, or aged Gouda!
